Well, I guess it's about time I touched base again on what's all happening in my neck of the woods these days.

I'm done working for the box waxing company and I am now helping a local Wally World aka; Walmart remodel the store. It's 3rd shift, so I'm happy to be back on that schedule, since I'm still not a fan of 1st This'll give me a solid 10 weeks worth of work, so i'm happy with the 2-3k i'll be getting out of it ^___^

This past weekend was the annual JAFAX ( Japanese art film animation expo ) convention here in west Michigan. It's a wonderful 2 day admission free event for those who love anime, pocky, manga, and all things involved with the Japanese culture. Last year i didn't have the chance to go, due to a planned family vacation, but this year? I wasn't going to miss it for the world On saturday i cosplayed as my fan created Naruto character again, for 2 main reasons; One being limited income and having made it before, and Two, I just don't see myself cosplaying anything else to their proper forms (size, height, etc..) without taking up too much of my free time I saw a lot of great costumes, a few work friends, and of course a slew of dA artists from the reasonable area(s) within reach of the convention Kristie Good, aka again had her table up, and had the opportunity to snapshot and get her signature on my "Signature Scroll" that i make every year ^__^ I picked up my reasonable amount of pocky, as my custom dictates and bought a few other things i'll get a snapshot of later, of which i'll hopefully post within the next 10 days

I did however see something that caught my eye, and has gotten me thinking about it these last 48hrs. There's to be a new convention in Michigan, and it's within my driving distance and saved funds to attend! It's KUZURI-CON in Battle Creek, MI on October 2-4, 2009. Now my thoughts on this are the usual ones:

1. Should I go? and for how long?

2. Will i get a hotel room? who would i share it with?

3. Would a friend ( local or dA) want to go with me?

4. Could we afford it without breaking the bank?

5. Would it be worth it?

6. To cosplay? or not to?

Personally, the only questions that really concern me are 2 thru 4. So what i'm really getting at is this... who would like to go with me to Kuzuri-Con? Should we go for the whole thing, friday thru sunday, the hotel and transportation would be split fairly, and we'd work out anything else as we go along
