If any of my watchers are currently wondering what's been happening to me since my last journal, I can officially tell you I haven't exactly been having too much fun.

On March 30, i woke up and had some redness and pain on my lower right leg. From what, I still don't have the foggiest idea. Needless to say, I saw my doctor and had an antibiotic prescribed. My leg continued to get worse over the week. I saw my doctor's nurse, who started me on another antibiotic, and gave me a shot that thursday, and had an ultrasound the following day, thinking of having a blood clot. My leg was significantly swollen and red, but not my foot, so the blood clot was a negative. Over the weekend, the pain was getting too great to bear, and on May 6th, my mom took me to the ER, and had them tend to my swollen leg, by cutting and draining it, along with placing me in the hospital. By the 9th, the tests came back showing I had a Group A strep infection, which we had promptly taken care of before it got any worse. By the 11th, I was released from the hospital, and I have my leg dressing changed everyday by my mom or her sister. I won't be able to work until the 11th of June, and I have around 11,000 dollars to pay in bills, on my temp working salary of 20,000 dollars a year, along with regular bills. I'm hoping it'll all be paid off in 3 years, if I'm lucky enough to find a full time job in my time off of work, along with tending to some other matters I've been putting off for some time.

Next week, I'm hoping to find some spare time to post the art I was planning on posting earlier this month, before my medical fiasco happened. I just need to get out of this dark funk I've been having and have some fun while i can, along with getting the strength in my leg back, so I can get back to work.

Hope everyone else has been having a better month than I have, and I'll take any help i can get, whether it's comments, art orders, get-well e-cards, or even a donation to help with my bills if you want   I'm at least glad that I'm still around to be here and see all the great art people create, along with the healing my leg's been getting the last 2 weeks.
